Things I learned the hard way...
The fact that your couch cushion covers are removable does NOT necessarily mean that you should put them in the washing machine.

LOL - this made me giggle - I did the SAME THING once. :) ONly I thought I'd be clver & save myself the work of taking the covers off and on & stuffed them in the washer with the covers still one - - which resulted in ripped covers and my pressing need to have a cover on my couch at all times. hee hee
ReplyDeleteI've done this too, and it really annoys me. What is the point if they're not washable? I can understand not putting them into the dryer, but shouldn't most fabrics suitable for upholstery be washable?
ReplyDeleteOh no! I have never had trouble washing mine... but now I have a new (to me) couch, so thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, they should stretch out. I've washed mine a few times and it's always a tight fit at first.
